Claude Web
Connect Madgicx MCP to Claude via claude.ai.
Claude Web
Claude's web interface at claude.ai supports remote MCP servers natively through Connectors. This is the quickest way to get started with Madgicx MCP.
Requirements
- A Claude account (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan for multiple connectors; Free plan supports 1 connector)
- A modern web browser
Setup Instructions
Open Connector Settings
Navigate to claude.ai/settings/connectors, or click Settings in the sidebar and select Connectors.
Add Custom Connector
Click the + button to add a new custom connector. Enter the Madgicx MCP server URL:
Click Add to continue.
Authorize with Madgicx
A browser window will open for authorization:
- Log in to your Madgicx account (if not already logged in)
- Select team — Choose which Madgicx team to connect
- Review permissions — Review the requested permissions
- Authorize — Click the "Authorize" button
After authorization, you'll be redirected back to Claude.
Enable in Conversations
The Madgicx connector is now available. To use it in a conversation:
- Open a new or existing conversation
- Click the connectors icon in the input area
- Toggle Madgicx to enable it
Tool Permissions
For a smoother experience, you can configure tool permissions so that read-only tools run automatically while write actions still require your approval:
- Go to claude.ai/customize/connectors
- Select Madgicx
- Under Tool permissions, set Read-only tools to Always allow
- Keep Write/delete tools set to Needs approval
This way Claude can fetch campaigns, insights, and account data without prompting you each time, while actions like pausing campaigns or changing budgets still require confirmation.
Using the Connector
Once enabled, simply ask Claude to interact with your Madgicx data:
Claude will automatically use the appropriate Madgicx MCP tools.
Mobile Access
Once configured on the web, your Madgicx connector is automatically available in the Claude iOS and Android apps. You can use all tools, prompts, and resources — but new connectors must be added via the web interface first.
